Typical Specifications
Chemical Process Controller and "Indicator" are considered synonymous for the purpose of bidding specifications. The Indicator shall be housed in a NEMA 4X, UL approved enclosure. Indicator shall independently monitor up to 4 channels, with a maximum of 16 load cells per indicator, and also provide information on the total of up to 4 channels. Each channel shall display NET REMAINING, DAILY USAGE, TOTAL AMOUNT USED, RATE OF FEED, DAYS UNTIL EMPTY, TARE WEIGHT, AND GROSS WEIGHT. A Data Log Function shall store the DAILY USAGE for each of the previous 10 days. Digital Display shall have a 2 line, 16 characters per line, alphanumeric LCD display at least 0.56" high for weight value. Indicator shall have 10 numeric and 10 function key pad with audible, tactile and visual confirmation, while all operations are menu prompted for ease of use. Indicator shall be capable of operating at power sources between 85VAC and 265VAC. Indicator shall be virtually immune to interference from commonly used electronic devices in the workplace, such as pagers, cell phones and radios, or other electronic devices. Indicator shall have a redundant memory back-up so that it does not need to be reprogrammed in the event of a power loss. Accuracy of indicator is 0.25% of full scale capacity, or better.
Indicator shall be a Model 1099™ as manufactured by Scaletron Industries Ltd., Plumsteadville, PA.
