NEW Spill Containment Scales have several very important features:
These new Scaletron Industries, Ltd. scales weigh only the chemical dispensed into the water treatment system. If there is a chemical spill the weight is still on the scale and doesn't read as though it has been dispensed into the system.
The
scales have four Load Cells that are completely sealed
in PVC and Vinyl Plastic enclosures, which means they
are protected from spilled chemicals and the chemical
containers do not have to be centered, balanced or leveled.
Integral
Splash, Spill and Containment scale platforms are resistant
to most water treatment chemicals such as: fluoride,
sodium hypochlorite, sodium hydroxide, sodium bisulfate,
polymers, ammonia, phosphate, alum, caustic, sodium
aluminate or other liquids or powders.
These
patent pending Scaletron Industries, Ltd. spill containment
scales have an ultra low-profile design. The scale frame
height does not exceed 1.5 inches. The low-profile design
faciIitates easy on and off loading of heavy containers.
The
Model 4042™ spill containment scale contains moderate
spills, while the Model 4042WB™ (with bladder)
has the additional benefit of a special rollout bladder
to hold the contents of the container being weighed
if spilled or leaked.
